Love in between the lines Part- 2

Dear Diary,
I know you might be thinking that why am I taking trouble to write at this hour. But I have a confession to make and I can't hold it in for long. You know, you are my best friend as you have been hiding my secrets well all these years. Secrets which nobody knows not even my close ones. Here's another secret for you which I have been dying to tell.

Do you remember Shaurya my college friend ? Of course, you do!

Well, the thing is, I don't want to admit it but I think I am in love. I know that when I speak of  love, it appears as a superficial feeling to you but this time you would feel downhearted, for me. Why ?

Because I fell in love with my best friend, Shaurya. Is it good or bad, I am no one to decide.

For love happens, unplanned, unanticipated.

You know what's the best part about him. He, himself.

When I look at him, my heart creates fascinating words. His eyes are alluring, it makes me want to swim deeper. His physique sculpted perfectly. His nose sketched with precision. His chiselled face makes me want to kiss on his cheeks. His thin, messed up hair. Likewise, I would go on and on. It's as if I love everything about him. Actually, I do !

Yes, buddy! You are right!

Aasha loves Shaurya!

I played the FLAMES game and guess what came!

Marriage ! Yippee ! fingers crossed!

I know it's insane but can't help it. This is the first time I got marriage in flames. Jokes apart, well, now when you know that I have feelings for him. I hope you encourage and support me in this battle between friendship and love.

May the best win!

It's 2:28 a.m. I must sleep now.

good night "

The book closed and I took a decision, to leave behind the past and begin the new chapter. No matter what people are going to say, I don't care. I am going to confess him tomorrow when we meet.

"Hey Aasha" Shaurya said

"You look pretty"

"Thanks" I blushed

( Conversation continued...)

While having snacks...

"I loved that movie!" He said

"Me too!" I exclaimed

"You know what"

"Yes" He said

"I like someone " I said

"Oh, great, I suppose it's my brother ?" He giggled

"No, perhaps someone else"

"Ohh... who is that miserable guy ?" He chuckled

" Shaurya!!! " I sniffed

"Acha, fine, tell me now" He said

"The guy's name starts from 'S' ! "

"Sarthak?" He asked

"No!"

" Sanket?, umm, no wait, Saahil? Siddhanth?" He continued guessing

"No, no, no ! " I disapproved

"Then who else? "

"I think you are playing a prank with me" He said

"Look at me, do you really think I ain't serious?"

"It's quite puzzling to me" He said

"The guy is sitting right in front of me"  I blurted out

"You mean..."

" Me?"  He asked, utterly shocked, his face turning pale.

"Yes"

"Shaurya..."

"I love you"

" Shut up!! " He yelled

He pushed away the chair and said,

"Listen Aasha, If it's a joke, then I shall forgive you but if it's not then our friendship is over"

Anger was painted on his face.

Ignoring my requests, he walked away.

People present at that moment stared at me. Whispering among themselves about us. A hot topic of discussion had started.

I looked down. Deeply upset with all that had occurred.

My hands began to tremble, sweat trickled on my brows, eyes teary.

A conflict going on in my mind by the sudden change of events.

I wish I never spoke of my feelings but I did and now nothing could be fixed like before.

Why was all this happening to me ?

No one had an answer.

It's a known fact that expectations kill ! No wonder people keep repeating the words,

"Don't expect too much"

Last night, I did. The situation was delicate now.

I looked at the phone buzzing. It was his phone. He forgot to pick it up while leaving. The caller id showed the face and name of the person.

"Ridhima"

Unfailing Outlook

While you have dreams in your vision to fulfill them, you also see on the other hand how people are living their life. The kind of life you too are dreaming at the moment. Someone's a doctor, musician, singer, astronaut, engineer, architect etc.Perhaps every individual lives up to their dreams as without dreams reality hits us hard.   To live your dream you need to have an ambition,an aim, strength to resist trials and tribulations, undivided focus and hard work.  And all this comes with a cost - Time! Time which keeps ticking at every mini second Time that doesn't stop Time which is the present Time that guides you to make or break your life. Like the wrist watch on your hand completes your style, the same way the time is a constant reminder to you to walk on the pedestal or you'll get hit by a car. But at times,we fail,we feel let down due to circumstances and sometimes hard luck. Whatever the issue of concern may be but it's really important to ha...

You & I

We both were enjoying the sunset on the beach. He t ook interest in the sandcastles I made . I looked at him in a childish way.  He said,"This is why I fell in love with you"  I gently laughed as he spoke. Again, he flattered me, saying,"What? I am serious Naina!"  "Ok, fine! When did I say you were fooling around" I chuckled The innocent look on his face made me laugh harder.I couldn't resist that moment and pulled his cheeks. He was taken aback by my sudden response. "What are you doing? It hurts!" He said " Is it so ? Then forget it, from now on wards I 'll never pull your cheeks" I mocked "Hey! Don't be mad, I like it when you do that but next time do it softly" He said After few minutes, he looked at me, his forehead display ed fine lines of tension. I knew he was about to speak something urgent. "Jokes apart" "Naina, their is something I want you to know" he prompt...

The Idyllic Love

Everyone in today's world is searching for their partner who is supposedly meant to be there in their lives forever. Well, don't you think it is? Somewhere, Sometimes we all are inclined to think that yes, maybe our soulmate is out there somewhere waiting for us. And why shouldn't we think as it pleases our mind?
