The first of January


Welcome 2017! Yay,so finally the wait is over and we are here to begin with the first day of the year.Initially,the excitement arises as we wake up in the morning,heading back to our plans,that is the new year resolutions.

Coming back to the point why do we actually make new year resolutions?

Of course,we have to start a fresh new year with new plans so that it doesn't look similar to the last year ritual before that boredom creeps into our life.Well,the interesting fact is that we all have challenging new year resolutions.Especially,the common one is to lose weight!Ha,we have already started hitting the gym the first day itself!A good motivation indeed!

 Others have different resolutions,may be to score good marks in JEE Advance or to pass in 10th or 12th Boards is sufficient enough.While,some would be searching for better prospects of life such as better job opportunities,best college, University or for one simply a suitable groom or bride.

Whatsoever,the resolution may be but gradually with time it fades away into the mist.



So where are we going wrong? Simple,not keeping to our word,as usual losing track of time and trying to do multiple things at a time as the year approaches to an end.

If its a resolution,we better not take it just as a resolution but a to do list that happens everyday in our lives on a day to day basis.

The first day should be like the clearing of dark clouds after a heavy rainfall.The day where the ground is wiped away with any dirt left on it,the sky appearing to be crystal clear and the weather so pleasant that you are able to enjoy a refreshing walk.

We both were enjoying the sunset on the beach.He t ook interest in the sandcastles I made . I looked at him in a childish way.  He said,"This is why I fell in love with you"  I gently laughed as he spoke. Again, he flattered me, saying,"What? I am serious Naina!"  "Ok, fine! Everyone in today's world is searching for their partner who is supposedly meant to be there in their lives forever. Well, don't you think it is?
