If You Were There..


"If you were there, I would have confessed my feelings to you,if you were there, I would have been happy,if you were there, I would have appreciated and thank god for your presence.."



Payal wrote this poem for her secret admirer who had disappeared from her life.

About one day before...

At the middle of night,she receives a call from Raj,Dheeraj's best friend saying that Dheeraj had been disappeared from  his farm house when they were about to surprise him as the clock would strike twelve.They searched for him everywhere in the house but he was no where to be found.

"Where would he go? And how is that possible nobody saw him? Someone must have!"Payal questioned

"I know you are concerned about him as you like him the most but what else can we do?we searched everywhere including the store room and backyard!"Raj said

"If that so,why don't you ask your neighbors?" Payal suggested

"We could have but it's 12:15,almost an hour,everybody must be sleeping at this time what do you expect anybody is in the mood to help us?" Raj commented

 "But you ought to do something, he's your best friend!" Payal said

"Oh,don't panic! I will find a way out" Raj assured

"Please, do let me know!" Payal requested

"Ya,ok" Raj said,as he hung up the phone.

Payal wished earnestly that she could propose Dheeraj but all her planning went in vain as he was not to be found on his birthday.

Now what suspense had life created for her?She could only imagine the possibilities and vice-versa.


"I wish i could tell him that i love him"Payal whined

She just wondered if he was all well,if only he called her once because he had told her long back before his birthday that he adored her and would love to hang out with her one day.

She was waiting for that one day to arrive.

Now she kept thinking again and again if that day would ever arrive.
