The Next Day...
Someone's heart was being pierced slowly in the dream which was unbearable, the pain could be physically felt until her phone began ringing.
"Payal"Raj said
"Yes,Raj,any news about him?"Payal inquired
"Well.."Raj paused
"What is it?"Payal asked
"Payal,it's related to Dheeraj"Raj stammered
"Duh..i know! That's what i am asking you about him Raj!!"Payal shouted on top of her voice as her finger mistakenly places on the speaker phone.
"Dheeraj's body was found near the garden of Rithvik's backyard "Raj said
She didn't say anything. The truth shocked her.At least this was not what she was expecting.
"But how did he end up at Rithvik's house?"Payal questioned
"What was he doing there?"
"As far as i have heard,Rithvik is Dheeraj's school time friend and classmate and he had invited over Dheeraj to apologize for some trivial fight they had during their school time for a girl"
"But i too was there in the same school"Payal said
"I never got to know who that girl was for whom they had been fighting for"
"It was you,Payal"Raj said
"Wait,what?????"Payal asked in disbelief
"That's not possible! Had it been at least one of the guys would have approached me"
"I don't know why they didn't or something but all i know is Rithvik apologized for his mistake, they had some drinks, got heavily drunk and .."Raj said
"And Rithvik's parents said that they were taking selfies sitting on the end of the railing and both of them fell over the terrace falling to the ground.
"So Rithvik too died?"Payal asked
"Both of them"Raj said
"I am sorry"
"Why are you sorry? He's no more and i have to accept the reality"Payal said
"I'll talk to you later"
"Ya,take care,bye"Raj said
"You too take care,bye"Payal said
Payal couldn't breathe properly,It was hard to inhale and exhale. There was only one guy in her life whom she loved and wanted to spend the entire life with him.But he vanished into thin air, never to be found again. She sat beside the window in her bedroom and began recollecting all those little moments she was lucky enough to spend with him.
"He's gone"
"May his soul rest in peace"
