The calendar has been replaced, the year and also the dates but what specifically hasn't changed is the way we look our lives. On the New year's eve we all spend our time thinking that as soon as the new year begins we will change our routine, our schedule,in fact everything.
On the first day,not to doubt, everyone sure does make effort to make it feel as if we have changed everything or trying to just mold few things but actually nothing changes except the calendar, the festivals and holidays.
You go out of your home and as you look across the streets,it can be clearly observed that the enthusiasm has waned and people are back to their daily regime. Nothing has changed.
And surely,it is impossible to see change within a day. What important is not whether things have changed or you must make a change to feel exclusively that you have welcomed new year. The matter of fact should be whether we are trying to transform our lives or not.
Why do we have to do that?
Because last year probably you lost some friends who were dear to you but they never considered you that close, someone lied to you,you broke up with your boyfriend or he did,a loved one passed away.Reasons could be many and if we don't change the way we think or act, unfortunately we are going to end up doing the same things every year.We will neither learn our lessons nor apply them.
So the change must start from now onward and today it self. The change will come when we take baby steps to transform our self.
Transformation does not mean that you hit the gym, join a yoga class or go jogging.Well, the former ones would definitely benefit though but the actual meaning is hidden behind the veil.
We must engage ourselves to productive work such as learning a musical instrument, learning a language, reading good books or playing indoor or outdoor games.
To a lay man it might not seem productive but it does build one's concentration and help to learn something new, different in life which is out of the syllabus of our textbook.
This helps us to participate in something which grooms our personality. And what wrong could transformation do to our personality?Instead it makes us inquisitive to experiment and learn something out of our excitement.
So are you ready to remold your personality with some new flavors which taste delectable to your mind? Most likely, yes!
