The Unexpected

Vishal saw a dream where she was his dream girl and woke up in amazement to see if he was virtually seeing it or if it was reality.

 

"I had a beautiful dream where i was finally with Shreya,she had accepted me and everything was going great,she was my wife,holding my hand,what else could i ever want?"Vishal said to her sister,Radhika.

"But why are you seeing her in your dreams when you know that she had denied being in relationship with you?"Radhika said

"Don't worry,she's gonna regret that soon!"Vishal assured
"I hope so,she does!"Radhika agreed

An year passed and as soon as Vishal got graduated from college,his friends and acquaintances could see how he was gradually climbing the stairs of success.He began working out at the Gym,gave audition for theaters and short films and even did anchoring for shows in public events.

Moreover,his fan following was also increasing on Instagram and Facebook.

Change and Success was noticeable including the transformation from average to handsome hunk.

Somewhere down the line,he gave credits to her,had she not criticized her,he would have never reached to the level where he was today albeit the struggle was worth.

And even though everything was going good,still nothing kept him satiated.

Another year passed and the rise of a star was on the charts.He was grooming himself,day by day,months by months.

Until One Day...


"Hey Vishal,how are you?"Asked Abhijeet, one of his college friends at the gym.
 "I am good,How are you buddy?"Vishal asked
"All good,yaar,you have changed,i mean for good,that's
amazing!"Abhijeet said
" Thanks man!It's all hard work that pays off!"Vishal said
"Agreed!"Abhijeet said
"So,what are you up to these days?"Vishal asked
"Man!I am in Sound Production"Abhijeet said
"Oh,that's interesting"Vishal said
"Ya,so it is!"Abhijeet chuckled
"Oh,anyway,have you met other friends of our college and what they have been doing?"Vishal asked
"Oh ya,well,i have been really busy lately,so couldn't get in touch with anyone from college but ya there's one thing i heard recently from old pals"Abhijeet said
"Oh,what is it?"Vishal asked
"Shreya,our classmate committed suicide five days ago"Abhijeet revealed
"What?How is that possible?I mean,she was such a strong girl"Vishal said
"What you meant was egoistical,may be"Abhijeet said
"Well,yes,one of her close friends revealed the whole story behind her suicide,that before she entered college,her parents got divorced,later in second year she joined hostel due to too much of quarrels with her mother and after few months her ex boyfriend left her.Eventually within weeks she was diagnosed as a patient of depression and unfortunately as she wasn't able to get a good placement,so all this trauma led her to make this decision."
"It's really shocking!I mean,i never thought that so many things were going on in her life,i barely had any clue because she was good at pretending that she cared about only herself,no one else"Vishal said
"Me too bro,even i didn't think she would take such a step.In college she was the wannabe type girl and every guy was so crazy about her"Abhijeet said
"Well,it's sad but we can't do anything about it.Only pray that she rests in peace."
"In any case,i gotta go now,i am done doing cardio so I'll meet you later"
"Ya,ok,see you later,bye"Vishal said

Vishal felt numbness in his body,he wasn't able to move an inch,extremely horrified at this unexpected news.

She was gone.

An inevitable thing had occurred.

It was pointless thinking about how,why,when,where as now the event had become a history. 

All he recollected was whoever he was today,all credits goes to her.Things didn't go well as he planned especially making her his beloved wife.Thanking her for all the criticism she played at her part. Now he could only thank her from his mind.

The Unexpected had happened,his first unattainable love was now welcomed in heaven.
