The elevator door closed. She took a deep breath and exhaled heavily unaware that every action of hers was being captured on the CCTV camera. Out of an impulse, she fell to the ground and began shedding tears.The tears flowed endlessly. Countless thoughts were running on her mind and all because people enjoyed meddling in her affairs.

"Why can't I find the one who's meant for me? How long do I have to survive like this? Is there no way to escape from this pain? What good is this life for? Am I not just failing every time?"
These were the train of thoughts that had clouded her mind. All she wanted was peace. But yearning for peace in a place where only turmoil existed was hard to find.
When someone asked her,"How are you?"
What she replied was,"I am good, how are you?"
What she wanted to say was "I am drowning, could you lend a hand please?"
But would anybody care to know how she felt? Everyone was being numb to her emotions if not there own.
She is still waiting for someone who says,"You don't look good, let's catch up"
And the day she will find the one who says words somewhat similar to this, she will know it's him.
Back to her life; the elevator door opened gradually, she stood on her feet and exited the place. Her hands searched for door keys and as she found the key, she turned around the key to the right and the door unlocked.
In the room the fragrance of incense sticks still prevailed to which she felt better. Closing the door behind her, she threw away the purse and jumped on the sofa falling asleep in no time.
