The elevator door closed. She took a deep breath and exhaled heavily unaware that every action of hers was being captured on the CCTV camera. Out of an impulse, she fell to the ground and began shedding tears.The tears flowed endlessly. Countless thoughts were running on her mind and all because people enjoyed meddling in her affairs. She is waiting for the right one who'll know her soul  "Why can't I find the one who's meant for me? How long do I have to survive like this? Is there no way to escape from this pain? What good is this life for? Am I not just failing every time?"  These were the train of thoughts that had clouded her mind. All she wanted was peace. But yearning for peace in a place where only turmoil existed was hard to find.  When someone asked her,"How are you?"  What she replied was,"I am good, how are you?" What she wanted to say was "I am drowning, could you lend a hand please?" But would anybody...

Ever since we are born, we look for love from others. First, it's our parents in infancy then friends in adolescence and finally a life partner in adulthood. That's how it is and the problem in all these stages is, we are never taught to love ourselves. We constantly search for unconditional, pure love from the world but not in our souls. And it's sad because you end up giving priority to others not yourself. You begin to find someone in your quest thinking he/she may love you. You give sole importance to their beauty, confidence and personality. But what about your beauty? Are you not beautiful that you stand in front of the mirror and tell your self 'I am beautiful' instead of looking for validation and compliments from others? Are you not confident enough to work on your health and fitness? Can't you just say to yourself 'Yes, I am improving and I'll get better as the days pass by' ?  Can't you focus on improving your personality?...

Here's my empathy to all the one-sided lovers out there who have been hurt tremendously again and again due to the unrequited love by their best friend, friend or just another desirable soul. You must be thinking why am I having feelings of deep empathy for you right?  Well dear, You may not know but I have been there, gone through all of that chaos and turmoil which you may be suffering at present. The peculiar feeling when you know that the person whom you have met or bumped into is the one who's meant for you but unlikely due to circumstances or fate the other one is not able to recognize that you are the one who will hold their hand and stay together forever. He saw her from a far distance waiting for her friends in the mall. Every time he saw her, his heart said, " I know it's you" but wondered in reality if they would ever be together. Yesterday I was sitting patiently at McDonald's waiting for my takeaway order to arrive. As the staff members were getting my order ready I looked outside the main road where cars and auto rickshaws made endless honking to free themselves from the ongoing traffic.To my surprise, I saw a couple holding hands as they entered swiftly inside the McD. I couldn't help but notice how madly they seemed to be in love as if struck by the bow of cupid's arrow. They stood right in front of the counter and the boy asked the girl what she would like to order. It appeared to me as if i had already seen this couple before because of the way they were acting. Right! I felt the deja vu experience. And then it came to my mind about a particular memory where my friend Tanvi had asked me the question while we were sipping cold coffee.
